New recommended image size and "choose image for each article"

hey man… the image size thing… thanks for the heads up… they’re constantly changing things and I’ve never found a good from-the-source feed of updates or notifications when they make changes like this. I’ve added that to github issues. https://github.com/chuckreynolds/WPFBOGP/issues/26

As for the choosing an image per post. the point of the plugin was to be unevasive and “just work” behind the scenes. Managing images is hard enough let alone trying to assume people will actually upload a large enough image and then on top of all that having to assume they have the right aspect ratio w/o it auto-cropping it weird is so much trouble.

I already open up the image size to large in the beta on github. But monitoring for aspect ratio isn’t something I’m honestly looking forward to diving into. And choosing an image per post is just too far from my core idea for the plugin. I’m sure other plugins allow that but as a client.. it’s too hard to have yet another task when posting things when it’s already daunting to remember content, seo, titles, description, right category, tags, etc etc etc.
