New Problem with Askimet?

Hey there …
On our https://www.wheresmydamnanswer.com we’ve been using askimet for the spam stuff and it’s been fine since the beginning – until two days ago.
All the spam is now showing up in our regular comment bin. It is showing up with yellow background whereas the others are white – but still not in the right place.
When I go into the configure settings it’s telling me:
“The key below was previously validated but a connection to akismet.com can not be established at this time. Please check your server configuration.”
I went to the wordpress.com login to see if it had somehow changed or if there was an issue on that end and it’s still the same there as well.
Any suggestions on what to do next for troubleshooting? My blackberry might explode from all the spam comments coming to it now – haha.
Any help would be appreciated.
