New posts takes a lot of time to index

    Hello, great developers,

    I’m having an issue with my 1-year aged domain https://www.voxlyrics.com/, which takes 9-12 hours to index a new post.

    Meanwhile, when I’m using the default Yoast SEO sitemap it doesn’t take time to index a new post, but now I’m using XML Sitemaps which works perfectly on my other site https://www.val9ja.com/, its takes 9-12 hours to index a new post.

    Could this be because of the new WordPress update? Any help will be appreciated!

  • I’m having this same issue. New post take almost 24 hours to index and its a time sensitive content. Could it be a sitemap issue

    The delay in indexing could be due to a variety of different reasons. Mainly it can be due to the popularity of the content and the number of pages your site has.
