• Hi,

I’d like to use page cache as it clearly speeds up my site. I use Toolset plugins and have a problem in my view that lists posts. When adding new posts, they will not show up in that list for the users that are NOT logged in. I even tried to wait for hours. I have to manually clear the cache for these posts to appear. This isn’t normal, right? I read somewhere that the cache should update almost immediately. It’s not happening on my site. What can I do to fix this?

Can someone, please, verify for me that the post lists should be updated even if I use page cache? So that I know this is not normal, thanks.

Did u use the checkboxes on the Performance > Page Cache area that allows you to select which types of pages are culled when new posts are made? By default it just does it to the front page and some others that escape me right now.

It’s possible tho that you have Browser Cache on and its not showing you the results soon enough.

For me it works perfectly. However, i did have to make some improvement updates to the author’s code since updates to this plugin are far and few each year. The updates tho were related to caching and updating rss/atom/rdf feeds correctly. But out of the box it does correctly show new posts and updates (for me) the front page to reflect these new posts. Internally i see the new cache files being made/updated as well.

Curious when u create a new post and check using ftp (file manager) do you see the cache files being made for these new posts or nothing? That is where you should be looking to figure out what is going on.
