New posts not showing on Home Page

    I am using the Unique Theme https://www.dessign.net/unique-theme-responsive/ to build my site littleonepictures.ca

    When I add a post it shows up in the selected category or menu and the featured image is added to the slide show on the home page but the post is not added to the home page and the only way that I can get posts to show on the home page is by disabling the slideshow option in the theme settings.

    I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress today in the hope that it would resolve the issue but there has been no change.

    I chose this theme because I wanted the slideshow and the home page posts to show at the same time. How can I fix this on my site?

  • In your index.php, on line 99, change this:

    'post__not_in' => $slider_arr,

    …to this:

    // 'post__not_in' => $slider_arr,

    That will comment out the part of the code that says not to include posts from the slideshow in the blog index.
