New posts not federating

    I’ve set up ActivityPub and I am able to follow the user on my mastodon account. I am able to see the count of existing posts on the profile but when I publish new posts the new posts never show up and I have been unable to find any solutions so far in the forums. (I see lots of instances of people closing similar requests with “It’s working now” but explanation as to what might have changed.)

    I believe I know what was causing my issue – it seems to be the hyphens in the subdomain name. I switched to a new subdomain visionary.davidjmiller.org and when I post there everything is working.

    Also, in case it helps anyone, early in the process of trying to set things up I thought that the plugin was failing to handle follow requests. I eventually discovered that follow requests made through the Mastodon app I use, Tusky, would result in a “Follow requested” status but that follow requests made directly through the web interface for Mastodon worked just fine (including being able to see the follow and posts in Tusky).
