New posts listed as drafts rather than publish

    When posting a new post fron the front end, the new post is listed as a draft rather than being published when the submit button is pressed. Thsi required to user to then publish the draft.

    Post status in the WP User Frontend config is set to publish

    Any other suggestions?

  • I’ve just tried this and it works fine.

    You can add this to your functions.php for the plugin
    /**
    * Modify the post array
    **/
    function wpufe_change_post_status( $my_post ) {
    $my_post[‘post_status’] = ‘pending’;

    //want to change the post author?
    $my_post[‘post_author’] = 3;

    //must return
    return $my_post;
    }

    add_filter( ‘wpuf_add_post_args’, ‘wpufe_change_post_status’ );
