• Hello. I started testing the ActivityPub plugin on my WordPress blog. I configured the plugin and published some test posts. After a few minutes I checked and realized that the posts only appear published in several other smaller instances, but are not appearing in the mastodon.social instance.

A friend helped me with the tests by viewing the posts in the instances mastodon.online, mastodon.com.br and cuscuz.in (the latter instance no longer exists). In all these instances, my blog posts appeared normally in the profile generated by the ActivityPub plugin, but none of them appeared in the mastodon.social instance.

Could you help me solve this problem? Is it some wrong configuration that I made in the plugin? Or is it some limitation imposed by the mastodon.social instance? Thanks in advance.

I just checked on Mastodon.social and I can see three test posts:

    • ActivityPub – Teste 1
    • Testando federa??o de blog WordPress com o plugin ActivityPub RELOADED
    • Amet laborum Lorem minim fugiat ullamco. Cupidatat excepteur ex sunt pariatur reprehenderit nostrud fugiat pariatur dolor non do velit aute. […]

I checked your site and it seems that you have a caching problem. Do you use a caching plugin or cloudflare?

Sorry, I forgot to give this information at the beginning of this thread:

The posts you saw on mastodon.social were the first ones I actually managed to publish, but after them no new posts appeared. Additionally, at the time I had set my blog profile to “@[email protected]” and then changed it to “@[email protected]” in hopes of trying to resolve the issue.

About caching: yes, I use Litespeed Cache on my blog (but I don’t use Cloudflare). I didn’t know this could be a problem. Is there any specific cache configuration I can do on the blog to return to publish posts normally via ActivityPub?

Ok. I did two other tests. In the first test, I made the configuration in the .htaccess file as suggested in the link you showed. Then I published a test post on my blog.

In the second test, I undid the .htaccess configuration and disabled all cache on my blog. Then I published another testing post.

In both tests, none of the posts were displayed on mastodon.social. They normally appear in other instances, but on mastodon.social they no longer appear.

What do you think it could be?
