New Post Trigger

    I am using USP to add new posts to a forum with great success but I also want some of the posts to be published automatically to Facebook.
    To achieve this I am using plugin WP2Social Auto Publish.
    This is not being triggered as having a new post to publish by USP. If I edit a USP created post in the dashboard or create a new post within the dashboard then the other plugin is being triggered.
    So I suspect there is some action but being done by USP when a new post is created.
    Can you assist?

    If you can find out the hook that “WP2Social Auto Publish” requires, I can try to add it in the next plugin update. Ask the plugin authors which hook is required and let me know.

    It uses the transition_post_status hook but it now seems another “feature” (action on only selected category) is stopping it working. The author of the other plugin in working on it.
