• I have a new blog installed. The first entry went fine, but all subsequent posts publish only the title — none of the content. What could be wrong?

  • Hi, sorry for the irrelevant post, but I was wondering how you start a new thread? Can’t seem to find out how….

    @ticktockclok,
    ON the main page scroll down until you see the sections.
    Select the one that fits for your question. > click.
    Scroll down again, untill you see the form.
    Follow the instructions, e.g. “search ” ??

    nyb, at this point I would probably reinstall my files. do a back up first, and then replace them. perhaps something is amiss.

    I’m scratching my head here.

    How would I go about backing up my files?

    Guys, I found the solution and it was SO simple. Apparently Firefox messes with something on the Write Post page, so you have to refresh the Write Post page once before actually posting. After refreshing, simply type your title and content in and publish the post. Your blog should now display the content, not just the title!

    Which version of FF? On what OS?
    Many WP bloggers use FF and not everybody has this issue…

    1.5.0.4 and XP

    thanks for that feedback. basically, you hit the write tab, hit refresh, and then it will work normally?

    I’ll see if I can duplicate this, but considering it’s never happened to me, I’m not sure I’ll be successful (or, um, unsuccessful, if you know what I mean).

    It sounds like a cache issue. Could be in browser cache, or even your isp’s cache. Perhaps cookies too. I’m not too familiar with everything wp does with cookies, but I’d experiment by deleting them if I had this issue.

    I still don’t know what happened. Had a friend upload the upgrade again and it began working….

    thanks anyway..
