    Hello,

On a site that I am working on, Post —> Add New ( post-new.php ) stopped working — when clicked on it just produces a blank page. (The same for Page —> Add New).

I deactivated all plug-ins and Add New Post worked as normal. Activating Yoast SEO, with all other plugins deactivated and the theme set to Twenty Seventeen caused Add New Post and Add New Page to stop working and just produce the white screen.

Yoast SEO is updated to latest version.

    Please advise on this.

    Thanks,

    Joe

    Hi, thanks for your reply.

It appears that this was being caused by some sort of error in the database. I don’t know why it was effecting Yoast (and one other plugin) only, but I restored to a backup and the problem has gone away.

@joevenables We are not certain how the database error affected the Yoast plugin either but we are glad to know that you were able to resolve the issue by restoring your backup.
