New post: no name

  • Recently my forms stopped working for creating the post name.

    In ACF my field is set to “Set as post title”

    However this does not work when i use ACF Front End Form. The post name becomes “(no-name)” .

    Please advise,

    Hopefully this gets resolved soon. I need to deploy my current web project.

    By the way I also rolled back to previous versions, and the problem persists.
    I have also tried with a brand new form and brand new field group: same problem

    May i ask if you have a time frame? Am using this on a client site and no forms work at the moment.

    I just realized this is also happening with native ACF form. But ACF last update was a month ago. I am pretty confused.

    I found the problem. In my case it was ACF Extended. By roling back to 0.8.7.6 the problem disappeared.

    Hope this helps for anyone who has this prob.`

    Hi Shabti, I didn’t personally experience a repeater problem.
    In fact I have a repeater field and upon last test it is working fine.
    If you detail the prob am happy to take a look.

    I have the exact same issue.

    Post Title becomes (no-name)
    Post Title and Featured Image can enter empty input even if it is set as required.

    Hi, I tried updating to the latest version of ACF Frontend and this issue came back.
    Any idea how this can be resolved?
    I had to rollback again to 2.9.6 for now.

    Hi there,

    I am having the same problem when creating a Post or CPT with ACF Frontend on a users Dashboard. Titel is always “no-name”. All data is stored correctly, but the titel in any post ist is “no-name”.

    Is there any actual informations/work around on this older Thread?
