New Post leads to blank screen of death

  • Hello. My wordpress site, running well over the last couple of years, yields a white blank page everytime i click ‘New Post’.

    Rest of the site works fine. The problem is ONLY when I try to create a new post.

    What could be a solution?

    I have the latest wordpress installed (i keep upgrading soon as I get a new version notification), and my theme and plugins are updated as well.

    Ok. I reinstalled wordpress and it seems to work now. Any suggestion why this behaviour>?
