New post causes homepage to shift left using Yoast SEO Plug In!

Any new post causes my home page to shift to the left side. All the other pages are OK, just the home page!
The plug in is well known and has been well used by the WP community, so I want to keep it if possible.
Anyone have any ideas why this should happen?All existing posts work fine with it.
