New post

  • My new post page layout looks weird.
    I cant find all my normal buttons to include stuff and layout the post.

    In the left bottom corner you see some strange too.

    I would expect it to be like this

    Any suggestions on how to fix this ?

  • It looks like a either a plugin or your theme is causing a jQuery conflict with the WordPress Dashboard.

    You can use “inspect element” in your browser, and then go to “console” to see if there are any errors or warnings. This should lead you to the broken plugin. If you need assistance, feel free to post your findings from console and I would be happy to take a look.

    Alternatively, if this happened after installing a plugin or changing themes, deactivate the plugins or switch themes to target what exactly is causing the conflict.

    No idea what I should select but i think it doesn’t show any errors ?? Unless i am doing it wrong. I go to developer tools and then select element by click. Then I click on console. This is probably what you mean. But there is no info there.

    I did add several plugins recently, and have no idea since when the issue pop-up.

    Could it help if I deactivate all plugins and see if it still happens ? Then I probably know if it is a mistake in the theme or in the plugins. Correct ?
