• Show Statistics is a highly configurable statistics viewer for WordPress 1.5. It reads the WordPress database and gets all kinds of information. You are free to enable or disable certain features in a seperate configuration file as you like. Due to the use of <DIV> tags and all seperate layout / stylesheet tags in the configuration you can alter the information as you like. You can place the information everywhere you like.

You can find a preview here:

  • Yes, I can view the plugin in the plugin editor although it’s not writable. Are you asking because you want me to make it writable?

I’ll continue anyway (without making it writable first) and use your version of RunPHP and see what happens (and post back).

    Thanks! ??

It’s working now. It must have been the version of RunPHP you provided that did the trick. Thanks for your help!

Oh, now that it’s working I noticed some mispellings you might want to change:

    General Statistics
    13 Total categories are created
23 Posts where [<- change to 'were'] posted
47 Comments where [<- change to 'were'] posted
5 Links where [<- change to 'were'] added
4 Different nicks posted a Comment

Btw, what’s a “nick”? Is that short of “nickname” and if so is that name provided in the “name” field of the comments form?

thnx for the update I will fix that asap ??

nick is indeed short of Nickname / name

Hmm. Cpanel at my domain starts the database with nameofdomain_nameofdatabase

    so it would be drivein_wrdp4

the only thing that changes is the number at the end.

sub-domains have no affect, they just have a different number at the end for creation sequence of the database.

Will your plug-in work with that ?

    Thanks.

it should chuckblue…. (sorry for the late comment)

Thanks. I’ll try it when I get the chance.

No problem with the lateness. I run out of time myself.

If you encounter any problems mail [email protected]

?? The plugin should use the global var-prelude of the DB

Otherwise I could create a custom made one for you ??

    okay. thanks.

I have to work all weekend, so I probably wont be able to try it until Monday night.

the plugin didn’t work for me…

do you know how to get stats directly from the database without a plugin?
