And, is there any way to assign categories to the quotes? I’m interested in having a different set of random quotes for different pages within my site.

I have a daily quote set up, and it actually changes daily, not with page refreshes.. I reckon i could make mine available for use

I added a “credits” field to store the “author” of the quote (e.g. W. Shakespeare). See a sample at my site. Contact me by mail (johan at sauviller dot be) for the code. Tried to mail it to [email protected] but my mail bounced (address unknown). :-{
