• Quoter allows site users to quote one or more comments, in a similar way to forums. The quoted comment is pasted inside the comment form textarea, wrapped in [quote] tags that, once submitted, are replaced by <blockquote> preceded by quoted comment information (author, date…).

It’s also possible to quote any part of a page’s text, not only a comment, by selecting it and clicking the “Quote selected text?? link. This feature only works if Javascript is enabled.

This plugin is totally configurable via Admin Panel.

  • Very nice work!

Easy to figure out too, because I’d already installed, configured, and styled it all before I figured out there was a link to the instructions page in English. ??

I’m having problems with it. When I quote a comment it produces something like this in the comment form:
    [quote comment=”7251″]Interested as well… appreciate your work…[/quote]

Then, when I hit “submit” is renders the EXACT same thing in the comment I just published. Am I making sense? Basically it seems that the [quote] isn’t being replaced with <blockquote>
