• Hi,

I submitted my plugin Style & Animate a while back, and it was accepted without issues. Before I deployed it to the SVN repository, the latest version of WP was released and I found some issues with my plugin, so I did not commit the version of my plugin that was reviewed. If I now upload the new version to trunk, will that cause problems? I’m thinking that someone could submit a ‘clean’ plugin, get it accepted then upload one with malware included so if that’s a thing which hackers try to do sometimes, I don’t want my plugin to be rejected on the grounds the first commit does not match the reviewed version.

Yes, sometimes they do that. We ban them very harshly when we find them.

But if your plugin isn’t malicious, then no worries. It’s fine to upload a fixed version. Not uncommon.
