New Paypal features | Problem

Hello –
I struggling with the new Paypal options / features.
For example, why would I want to place extra “buy now buttons” on the cart page and to other places?
My question(s):
If I disable these new features can I use Paypal as I used too?
On the Paypal popup users must register to Paypal when they only want to use their cards? — This wasn’t the case before.Thank you in advance!
