I had this problem last night and thought it was fixed, but evidentally it’s not.

When I create a new page and “save” it, then goto the sidebar on my blog to view it, I get a “404 not found” error. Everytime!

Last night I made a page, did the same thing as above, then all of the sudden, it worked. Anyone else notice this?

I found that if I clear my .htaccess file and republished my pages, things seem to work.

    Anyone have any advise?

I believe I read that each time you create a new page, you have to redo your permalinks structure to update it.

The easiest way is to CHMOD your .htaccess to something like 777 so the server can write it. That way, when you create a page, WordPress will update your .htaccess for you and you won’t have to do anything.
