New pages are not showing up in menu automatically

  • Using version 3.2.3 on WP 6.1.1.

    When I publish a new page, I expect the page to be added to the menu immediately. Instead, I have to visit the Pages admin page before the menu item is visible in the menu.

    In settings, all the following options are unchecked:

    • Hide Menu Sync Checkbox (Currently Enabled)
    • Include private items in the menu.
    • Manually sync menu.
    • Manually sync page order.
    • Default new pages to hide in nav menu.
    • Disable menu sync completely
