New Pages and uploaded images not showing up on backend

  • Hello everyone.

    I’m setting up a new blog, and I’m having troubles with the backend/admin-end.

    When I create a new page, it displays properly on the frontend, but it doesn’t show up on the list of pages under Manage->Pages. Doing a search for it brings it up, though!

    Second problem is with uploaded images. The Image Browser doesn’t find the images, simply displays “There are no attachments to show”.

    Yet, all images I’ve uploaded are working in the posts, and I can see that WP has created an “Uploads” folder on the server containing all uploaded stuff (with correct 777 permission settings).

    Can anyone imagine why this happens and what to do?
