• I have an Event page and was use to be able to add pages below it, now I can not. If I do, things look good until I visit the sire and try to access the page. I get an error 404 and told We are Sorry, there is a problem and try a search, code 404. I can create the page with no parent and all is fine. I then assign it to parent Event and the page can not be opened. There are other pages under event that work. I can change them and all is fine. I just can not add.
I am using The Events Calendar, which created this Events page, so I am not sure if the could be a problem but I do not se why.

  • Hey there,

Try going to your Permalink settings and changing them back to default and SAVE. Then change it back to your desired structure and save again. Usually, this helps resolves such issues. Let me know if it doesn’t!

can you post a link to your website

have you reached out to support for the events calendar plugin—are you using the free or pro version of the plugin?

(I have used the event calendar in other projects but I don’t recall needing to assign it to a parent event.)

I am not sure what you mean by setting them back to default. I can edit them but all I can do is change the name. I did that and also changed it to default and still had the problem. The permalink is https://artsociety.ca/events/current_education and all I can change is the current_education which I have from current-education to education to default to current_education.

I have sent The Events Calendar a message.
