    Howdy,

I added a new page, Destinations, to my blog at https://www.ridesanddives.com. When I view the page, the url in my browser shows https://www.ridesanddives.com/255, not the page name like my other pages such as salvation (https://www.ridesanddives.com/salvation). When I edited the page and changed the permalink from ending in 255 to ending in destinations, I can’t display the page and WP apparently is still looking for the 255. How do I change the url of the destinations page to match the other pages.

I must have known how to do this at one time, but I can’t figure it out now.

    Thanks,

    Greg

  • when you created the destination page what did you use as page name as that what should have been picked up as your url

    Hi govpatel,

The page name is Destinations. When I go to Edit Pages, I see the list of my page titles including Destinations. Is there somewhere else I have to name the page?

    Thanks,

    Greg

    Hi govpatel,

Got it. Had to change the slug (whatever that is) to match the title and now its showing up correctly.

    Thanks,

    Greg
