new page identical to home page

    this stumped me

    i created a fifth page and added a few paragraphs of content – but when i view the page – it displays the same content as the home page – the URL says it’s on the new page (“reviews”)

    i tried recreating the new page entirely – but the problem remains

    do you have a drop down list when you edit a page or add a new page that allows you to sellect different kinds of pages. I think one of them is the option to make is like your home page.

    no adrian – that wasn’t it – but thanks anyway – the home page option as you described isn’t in my theme

    but i did manage to get things working – i created a new page called “test” – when i saw that it was working properly – i copied the contents of “reviews” into it – and renamed “test” to “reviews” – and deleted the old “reviews” page – now it’s working

    i don’t know what caused the problem in the first place – i don’t know why doing it the way i did made the difference – but i’m not getting a duplicate page anymore
