New Page – Don’t want it in the Nav Bar

  • When I create a new page it places a link in the nav bar. I do not the new page placed in the nav bar and I do not want it as a sub page.

    I want it to read in the permalink like this:

    mysite.com/my-new-page

    Is this possible and if so, how do I do that?
