    Hi,

I use WooCommerce with Direct Checkout Pro plugin, and no cache / optimization plugin is activated.
The product I sell is unique and full digital.

I observed that when logged as a test user, if I add a product to the checkout, I see a new order in “Orders”, marked as “Waiting for payment”.

Then, I pay the product on a payment processor, that sends back the “OK” message, and the order status becomes “Completed”.

But, then if I come back to the shop and select again the product, 2 points :
    – I have the message “You can’t add this product once more” : Normal because I’ve checked “Sell only one by one” (the previous order seems to be cached… I don’t know why). Then I can still go to the checkout.
    – Once on the checkout page, here is the problem : the new order is not displayed. I just see the previous one, marked as Completed. I should see a new line, marked “Waiting for payment”.

I would like to see all the orders I make added in this Order list, even they are done by the same user.

Is there an overwriting of the existing order (and as it is already “Completed”, it does not come back to a previous status ?) ?

    Or another reason ?
Sorry, I just can’t “deactivate all plugins and re-activate one by one…”.

I ask that to know if it makes you think about a symptomatic behaviour / setting.

    Thank you for you assistance,
    Regards
    Law

    Hi,

    I just found the problem… (i think).

The grant access of the Category of the product was not appropriate. And I’ve set it as the same than the grant access of the product itself.

So “maybe” that rule had an impact on the display of the order in the “Orders” tab.

If a WooCommerce specialist may confirm or not this hypothesis that could help my understanding. Like that… I just can explain the link between both.

    thanks

Hi @laucoste. This behavior is not added by the WooCommerce core plugin. Orders are not automatically created for items if the user does not go through checkout. As this sounds like a feature of the plugin that you’re using, please check with their support about this directly.

If you have a question about the core WooCommerce plugin, please start a new post and we’ll be happy to help.
