    Hi,

I have a problem with my clients ecommerce store. You can buy items from there with or without registration. When registered customer places an order, both customer and store owner gets an email about the order. But when unregistered customer places an order, no emails are sent from woocommerce to neither one. I checked that the order is shown on the Orders-tab correctly so the problem is not that the order process is faulty. Also the status of the orders are the same with both unregistered and registered orders. I also installed the plugin that takes email logs and there is no trace of any emails with unregistered orders.

    Hi @aakkuhalp

You may consider installing a plugin such as WP Mail Logging. This will allow you to access all outgoing email logs from your site. If you observe that mail is being sent, it’s worth inspecting your SMTP settings. Equally important is to check your spam folders or suggest your customers do the same. Sometimes, emails mistakenly marked as spam end up there.

If the issue still continues, please review our email sending FAQ for help, troubleshooting steps and solutions here: https://woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/

I hope this helps! Please let us know how it goes or if you need further assistance.

    Hi,

I installed WP Mail logging -plugin and tried to make test orders after that, no emails were sent after guest order. Registered order-emails are working correctly and are shown in the email logs.

I also already read the email faq-article and tried everything in there, settings are correct and there is no errors in the logs.

    Hi @aakkuhalp

In this case, you can run a conflict test to help you identify the cause of the issue.

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Let me know once you have done a conflict test!
