    Hi,

    My website is not sending me emails when new order is received but when I manually go to new order inside woocommerce and send the new order emails, I received it. May I know what could be the cause?

    I appreciate any advice or help on this. Thank you.

  • Can you goto WC > Settings > Emails and take a screen shot of your settings please?

    Something isn’t right. You’re missing Canceled Order, Processing and a whole bunch of other emails that go with WC

    That looks right. Just next time blurr out emails unless you don’t care that people know them.

    Have you added any custom scripts inside your theme? Any mall logging plugins?

    I suggest using Mail Gun to ensure emails go thru.

    Hi,

    As this website is done by previous developer, we do not know if there’s any customization in the theme, may I know how to find out?

    I just installed the wp mail logging plugin and will report back once I see any status there. Thank you.

    If you are taking over for previous dev make sure to have a local install or a staging site somewhere to debug issues.

    Turn debug on in config and plug away at fixing things.

    Hi @stefsternyc,

    I tested an order with WP mail logging plugin and from the log, it shows that the customer received the order info but I didn’t receive the New Order email… may I know what could be the cause? It seems that woocommerce is has no issues sending emails but just that the new order emails are not sending out…

    Can you now take a screenshot of your emails section in WC?

    I’m not sure what the domain is but try taking the other emails out. Certain host only allow emails from that domain. so if it is example.com make sure only [email protected] is in there.

    And you can delete that image, I’m sure your buddies don’t want their emails blasted on the web. LOL

    The domain name is artgrain.com.sg. I don’t think the issue is with the host because when I go into a specific order and send the new order notification manually, all the three email address will receive the notification. The issue now is that the new order notification email is not sent automatically. Hope this clarifies.

    It is sometimes. They’re very picky. I used to run a dept at GoDaddy. I install MailGun for all my clients to ensure we get all emails sent and received.

    You could try turning WC off and then back on. Maybe something’s stuck.
