New order Email not getting sent with the new update

I updated the plugin recently, and now I’m not able to get the emails for the new customer order and even after reception of the payment, the order is not changing to “processing”. it remains as pending/failed. Please look into the issue.
And most of the people are not able to redirect to the payumoney payment gateway after placing the order. Page freezes. Is there any way to optimize it?
