New options needed

  • Dear frank, I think it’s time for the next generation of your great plugin. Please take it in consideration to add an option like “Save minified/aggregated html as static files” with “time-out” and “excluded URIs” options for cached files. That would cause the best cache plugin ever.

    So “time-out” would be for the cache file to be removed after x time you mean? That would come with a significant risk of cached CSS/ JS being deleted even if those files are still being referred to in a page cache (page cache plugin, host-based cache, 3rd party cache, browser cache, …) so I’m pretty reluctant. What would be the advantage?

    Re. “excluded URI’s”; that would be a list of pages where AO should not optimize at all?

    Just html cache (the same as js & css) is enough.

    ah, but AO does not do page caching. or it that exactly what you’re pointing out here?
