new on the bandwagon

  • WordPress is cool stuff.
    I found a nice style on alexking.org and messed around with it for a few days and added some backgrounds to it and changed a few things around. Works well. I love the platform.

    You should see me try and use photoshop. I am such a newb at that.
    I think a lot of the success of trying to use WordPress comes from the base of this site and supporting community. I learned a lot so quickly from following links. Great thing.

    Well, learning from experimenting is always a great exercise. You have obviously read through a lot of material, picked an option, gone with it, and come up with a great website.
    A good effort me thinks ??

    Your post headings are .GIFs. Surely that must complicate adding a post.

    yeah, auto-generated png files for whatever TTF font you want to use..
    they get auto-generated if the cached file doesn’t match the post title or if the config settings for the plugin change substantially. if you change a minor setting in the config, you may have to delete the cached images. cool plugin.
