NEW (not child) theme based on 2020 – conflicts??

    I really like this theme but wanted to change the colors & got most of it done but I think its messing up my changes in style.css.

    I changed the main color pallet w search replace but some things are still showing the default colors.

    They were changed in style.css, style-rtl.css, functions.php

    ex :

    calendar archive widget shows up funny colors on some but not all pages

    can’t get the even odd default table stripes changed

    seems to be bcuz of the gutebberg thing that auto changes colors?
    I tried to empty out the array that has all those but then it leaves a buncha black dots on my control panel then couldn’t figure out how to get rid of that either?

    seems like a handy feature but not sure what to do!

    can’t get bg color on pre code kbd samp blocks changed; just the bg of the txt itself

    tried searching here + google but none of it makes sense ?? O_O

    let me know if I should post screens

    UPDATE: found the calendar with the wrong colors was on the Block: Widgets page from the unit test data. Can’t find the white/gray/blue colors on the css files.

    the Block: Buttons page still has white text on some of the buttons but can’t find it in the css files.

    I readded the colors to my color panel in the editor & changed their names & slugs so it’d show the color name on the tool tip

    After I get a little more done I can post a live demo

    Hi, are you still looking for help here in customizing things? If so, based upon the URL that you linked, what exactly are you wanting to modify on there?

    @jarretc thanks for getting back to me ??

    I kept running into issues with the TwentyTwenty theme overriding my widget & button colors, I think from the color picker in the block editor?

    I’m experimenting with the underscores theme now & will make a new thread if it shows up again.
