New Network – Sub-domain site Does Not Exist ??
-
Hi
Multisite looks great – just have a problem with my first sub domain site …
I have installed the Network Multisite and the
Multisite Domain Mapping Pluggin and followed the directions
in Ottopress’s “WordPress 3.0: Multisite Domain Mapping Tutorial”Things appear to be set up properly but my result is this:
https://www.sd5.info/DNS-13.jpg( At the bottom it says that my sub-domain does not exist)
My main site is : https://reviewsworthreading.com
and the sub-domain site is:
buymobilewebsiteorg.reviewsworthreading.comAnd the domain which points to that is:
https://buymobilewebsite.orgI have screen captured my settings:
The My Sites list :
https://www.sd5.info/DNS-08.jpg(The sub-domain IS also in the dropdown)
The Sites list :
This shows the mapping.
https://www.sd5.info/DNS-10.jpgThe Domain Mapping page :
https://www.sd5.info/DNS-07.jpgWhen you enter
buymobilewebsite.org
The result is:
https://www.sd5.info/DNS-12.jpg
and continued …
https://www.sd5.info/DNS-13.jpgMy DNS seems OK because the browser does go to reviewsworthreading.com but ?t doesn’t go to the blog at the sub-domain.
If I enter:
https://www.buymobilewebsiteorg.reviewsworthreading.com
into the broswer I get some advert page:
http.com
Below are sponsored listings for goods and services related to: http.comOR sometimes:
https://www.sd5.info/DNS-14.jpg
The address seems to be missing the : after the httpCan anyone see what I have done wrong ?
Thanks.
