• I wanted to launch a website after months of work today. Customer made QR and saw that many elements on mobile dont work anymore. Why? The plus made an update and changed mobile settings + added even more layers. As if 8 layers or so for your containers + effects isnt enough???!

This is unacceptable. Stop adding more and more div layers and never ever change structure + settings of existing parts in your updates!

    EDIT, 02/2024:
Ok, you stopped doing sudden, breaking changes in the last releases. I will raise to 3 stars.

If you optimize your frontend code to be as fast as possible and add the option to possibly load sliders only when scrolled into view, then i will give you five stars

    Hello @geistit

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

It’s just a performance update, and we decreased some layers; we are making it even faster by improving the structure. Your issue can be resolved simply by removing the cache and/or saving the page.

Still, Would you like us to have a look at it? Would you please share ticket on helpdesk? https://store.posimyth.com/helpdesk/ We will arrange help immediately and resolve it in no time for you.

Hi Sagar, no it cannot be solved by a page / cache refresh. I built custom css upon your structure, because i would expect an anouncement in a mature product you sell to many people if you change the basic structure. Customers have many ideas, for example after you created 50 articles and it would be impossible to change it by hand again. So you add custom css and then you change the structure overnight. A nightmare

Im not even sure it can be fixed by a version rollback. Sorry, but your product is not ready for production, if you do this.

The wrap/nowrap is wrong on mobile now. Things wrap that didnt before. This is such a f*** up. I have to go through the whole site again

Aw man, you did this on even more elements. You changed how they stretch on mobile. Catastrophe!

    I’ve had similar breakage occur.

the ‘remove cache’… i don’t run this cache, so nothing to remove.

the ‘save page’… I have 700 pages. Each time you bump a minor number i’m supposed to spend the next 2 days opening each page and saving? Not that it fixed anyway, (well, some fixed, but, some didn’t). And now i’m stuck w/ similar breakage as OP.

    Hello @geistit,

We can understand your concern and we did multiple things during this time from tickets as well for few users those have such issue.

Few had issue due to No Wrap functionality in mobile, We have changed default value in container to make it as per industry standard, which is followed by many so it’s quite easy for everyone to understand on top of that we had some container changes for future updates.

We are releasing 5 new core blocks, which will be even more lightweight and help you build websites with better performance. Stay tuned for that.

On top of that, There were changes due to prepare things for https://uichemy.com/ Which will make your usage so easy with TPAG + Figma users. We will share more on this soon as well.

We are sorry for all inconvenience but, We have helped all by personally by login to their WordPress setup and resolved all things by our support engineers. It was having few changes, which have impact few sites, those who have used that exact functionality but impact was just to 2-5% of site but that risk we need to take for better plugin for you to use in future.

We are always there to support you and you will be quite happy with your choice to be part of early adaptor of The Plus Blocks for Gutenberg as lots of things coming up.

Ok, so “you are taking a risk”, when you update the Addon we bought from you and just change it overnight without a proper notice?

I now have to set up a test system and either implement automatic testing or test each of your updates manually before releasing it to the customer. Because the customers lost trust. They dont see “your” risk, they see that “I” chose a block system that just breaks everything after a minor update.

I would never choose your system again, knowing this attitude beforehand. Greetings to your Project Manager.

    Hi @geistit,

Apologies for this, You misunderstood us. We have quite strict rules in making sure on Backward compatibility and we feel pain of even single section to be messed up after any plugin update. We were in client service business for a decade and we value a lot for trust and stable updates as one mistake from our release can impact on many businesses in terms of trust factor.

We always give highest priority to that part but last release was most difficult for us and it was most needed one to release. On top of that, We have offered help on our helpdesk and resolved all impacted pages from our end by our support engineers. It was minor one and very little impact it had but still, we respect that minor impact and This is one of the rare release which had even such minor glitch in backend compatibility.

Believe in us, You will get lots of value in coming updates. We give you assurance to not having such updates in future. Thanks for your patience.
