    Hi Ninjateam

I would like to allow the upload of xlsm and xlsb file type in filester. Unfortunately even with adding .xlsb extension in the setting page, I get an error message when uploading: “unable to upload file.xlsb.
    File type is not allowed.
    (application/and.openxmlformats-officedocument.speadsheetml.sheet)”

I suspect the xlsb mime type is not defined in filester plugging. Is there a way to add a new mime type through the setting page?

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi Kelly

    Thanks for the quick upgrade.

Unfortunately it does not work with a xlsb file.
It looks like elFinder expects a ‘application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet’ mime type and the new FileManagerHelper.php addresses a ‘application/vnd.ms-excel.sheet.binary.macroenabled.12’ mime type.

    Hi again,

I would need more mime types to be allowed for upload by a non admin user.
Is there a way to allow any file extension type to be uploaded?
Or a way to add a mime type in the settings page that is not predefined?

    Thank you!

    Hi @tim43 ,

I am glad to forward your suggestions for new extensions to our developers, however please note that our plugin might not be able to support file extensions which are not supported by WordPress itself.

Also, may I have a list of extensions you would like to suggest for further evaluations, please?

    Thank you.

    Kind regards,
