• A new member would create a screen name and a password.
But I have my version of Word Press so that no one can post on my forums unless I read the posts first.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • You don’t appear to have a question, what are you trying to do? I might be alble to help but I prefer the forum, that way others might benifit from the exchange. Please rephrase your request:)

    My website is at https://www.nkscouting.com
When people click on Forum on my main page, it takes them
    to my forums.

But there is no way for them to register. Instead, I get messages saying that so and so posted, because my computer is set for me to preview all posts.

    My question is:
How can I change it so that I don’t have to preview posts, and let people
just post directly to my forum?

go to Settings/Discussion, then uncheck “an admin must always approve..”
you’ll find other comment settings here as well.

FYI – Please don’t post your email here. If you want to be emailed with updates, check “Notify me of follow-up posts via email” when you post a reply and you will be.

Spammers like to take your email and make your life miserable.

What forum plugin is that? If you were using bbPress then the registration would be on both forums AND the main site. Otherwise, it depends on the plugin

I don’t know what you mean by, “What forum plugin is that?”

    Any help is appreciated.

Let me know if there’s still something bout your question I’m not getting.
