    Following the recent plugin update to v2.2.4, we now have an issue when adding new media items to WP admin library.

    1. New images are successfully uploading to GCS and are in bucket with correct GCS url prepended to the image name.
    2. Issue is that the same images in WP library still begin with our domain URL, not the GCS URL. So when added to content etc, those images are still loading from our server.

  • Hello @gooba,
    Can you please share your stateless configuration with us?

    Can you also please confirm the issue is with the update to v2.2.4 not other plugins?
    Also please check if issue is still persist after rolling back to previous version.

    On my test it was using GCS URL.

    Thanks for contacting us.

    Hello Alim

    1. I reloaded v2.2.3 and with this version, everything fully worked ok;
    2. I tested by loading new media files and running sync with GCS – all media URLs were set with correct GCS domain.
    3. So the issue is with v2.2.4 not converting our domain URLs to GCS on new media files when uploaded – everything previously loaded when using v.2.2.3 still has correct GCS URLs.

    The stateless configuration is;

    Mode: CDN
    File URL: Enable Editor & Meta
    Delete GCS: Enable
    Organization: Enable
    Cache Busting: Enable
    Dynamic Image: Enable
    WP Bakery Page Builder: Enable
    Imagify Image Optimizer: Enable
    WP Forms: Enable

    Thanks @gooba I was able to replicate the issue.

    Short fix: It’s take a little time, if you wait few seconds more and then insert the URL you will get the GCS URL. Or you can upload from Media >> Add New then go to editing post.

    We will include a fix ASAP.

    I have created a GitHub issue, for more details please follow the issue.

    Thanks
