New media is not automatically converted

Hey Mat, I’ve received from the hosting service an email saying that the staging area of my website has got an error with “Converter for media” plugin.
This is the error:

An E_ERROR has been triggered from line 165 of file /web/htdocs/staging.sentierigressoney.it/home/wp-content/plugins/webp-converter-for-media/src/Conversion/Method/GdMethod.php. Error message: gd-webp encoding failed

@mistermagoo8691 I think I know what’s going on. You have password protection for entering the website. This means that the cron call is not working. Try to disable this protection for a while and then test.

Thanks Mateusz. The point is that I cannot remove this password protection, as it is a mandatory feature for the Staging area of my website provider…

I will need to be proud and test it directly in the production environment, then ??
