New Look – Feedback Please!

  • Hello, I have taken a simple theme and basically obliterated it to get it to look the way it does. As of right now, I basically have the homepage done, and a few other pages. I’m working on getting my content now.

    Anyway, just wanted to see what people think about the layout I currently have on my homepage, and then a sample page where I will have content.

  • Looks really good to me. Nice job on it. =) The color combination is nice, easy to read, very warming feel to it all. I’ll give ya a 9.8 for the rating, from 1 to 10 lol.

    Now I just gotta figure out how to get the sIFR working for me, gotta whip out the old Flash MX I guess lmao!! Dang, I hate having to learn new crap all the time sigh..I hope I can figure it out..

    I know you’re not using them, but it’s text with some flash, css and javascript mixture I guess. You can try hovering over the guy’s name in header…some other examples are found here:

    I really just wish I didn’t lose my Photoshop 6.0 sigh, was so used to making up some pretty nice images with it.. Now I’m just stuck with Forrest GIMP.. =( (Just not used to that program..blah.)

    i think it looks great and concur w/spencer on color combo and layout. in fact, it looks a lot sharper than many current baby/pregnancy sites – some of them are really lacking in cohesive design and navigation. (i’ve frequented lots of them, as i have a 10-month-old and 22-month-old. lol) good job!

    I really like it a lot. Very professional looking. Great work. The color combo is very similar to my site
