New Link – Target Info

  • Hello,

    thank you for that great Plugin, i am using it very often on my website.

    One question:
    I use the web-form to create new links. Is there a possibility to define the target-info in the form (e.g. _blank) or otherwise to define _blank as the default target for each new link (not only in web-form)?

    It is not possible at this time to have users specify the target info for links in the user form. That being said, you can set a default link target under the Library Settings > Links section, in the field called Link Target. This will determing a default target to all links that do not have a target specified. That target does not get saved in the link entry, but gets used when rendering the link library.

    I felt like having a target field in the link would not be obvious to all users, hence this configuration option.

    Setting a default link target as mentioned in your first post has solved my problem.
