    Hi,

    I would like to create a budget form, but the user could fill in the data in the frontend and, when necessary, include a new line with description and value for a product.

    It would be possible ?

    Hi @kalitu

    I hope you’re well today and thank you for your question!

    Currently Forminator doesn’t support adding field dynamically on front end. There’s only a specified/fixed number and type of fields possible as you set it when configuring the form.

    There’ll be “repeater” type fields possible in future but I don’t have ETA on it yet.

    As of now, the workaround would be

    to add additional field(s) to form, set them as optional, and just give them a description that would explain to users that they can use this filed to provide additional information;

    Additionally, you can set this field to be visible or hidden depending on e.g. selection of some additional radio field (e.g. “I want to add description”).

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hello @kalitu ,

    We haven’t heard from you for some time now, so it looks like you don’t have more questions for us.

    Feel free to re-open this ticket if needed.

    I just want to second the repeater functionality. Definitely needed, and especially on the free tier.

    Repeater for individual fields would be a great starting point, but I think having the ability to create repeater field sets would be even better. So having a group of three fields, and then a repeater to add another set of them.

    For security, it would also be good to have a setting to for a repeater limit too.

    Thanks and looking forward to this feature!
