New layout – need feedback

    it’s deffinately different; the setup is not something common I have seen with blogs. With that in mind, it seems more like a website and less like a blog which I am assuming is what you are trying to accomplish.

    Yes, it’s not suppose to look like a blog because writing is not my strong point and thank you for the compliments!

    What’s the purpose of the splash page?

    The loaded pages have a different nav menu than the main nav menu.

    The transitioning between each project slide was slow and stuttered.

    With the above being said, I would like to say that I appreciate the different rather than the expected normality. (normality such as “oh, it’s WordPress, I’ll turn it into a blog and put a sidebar here, and then populate the sidebar with the usual widgets like a calendar and page listing and then list my posts in this order like every other blog in 2002..”)

    I think the overall look of the site is nice and original. Pretty good stuff.

    – I tought about that, because I can have the credit info and other info on the splash page on my about page. So something to think about.

    – Yes, I really like the navigation text and bg on the main nav menu, but I don’t know about putting the same nav on the loaded pages.
    But I’ll probably put more links on the main nav menu, which are only on the loaded pages.

    – I’ve noticed that. Definitely have to find a way fore more smoother transitioning.
