new language homepage

Hi
The default language of the website is english.
After installation of the plugin and creating a copy of the homepage the new homepage in the new language bacame the default homepage when I go to https://www.domain.com.
In the polylang language page the star is on the en language so the default language is set to english.
in the wordpress settings >> general tab >> Site Language is set to english.
In the new homepage in the english page and in the other language shows a connection between the pages. (Translations: en).
In URL modifications: I checked
“The language is set from content” and “Hide URL language information for default language” and “Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks”
