• Good morning,

    Whenever the plugin runs a scan I get an email with the list of new issues found but then they are not displayed in the “New Issues” box at the bottom of the Scan screen.

    It used to be perfectly fine. I tried deactivating two plugins which I recently installed but it made no difference.

    These are the issues found, most of which relate to the WF plugin:

    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/sumome/sumome.php

    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/wordfence/js/admin.js

    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/utils.php

    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/lib/waf.php

    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/wordfence/vendor/wordfence/wf-waf/src/views/403-blacklist.php

    Could this be the reason why I am having issues?

    Many thanks in advance and kind regards,
    Cristina

    Hello Cristina,

    Sorry to hear that you are having these issues. One likely cause of the New Issues tab being empty is due to a JavaScript error.

    Please follow our documentation below to be able to see if this is the cause:

    If you need further assistance please ask.

    Also, are you running the latest version of Wordfence 6.3.5?

    For some reason wordfence is causing a serious issue on a number of sites that I run. I keep getting the following error:

    Wordfence WAF Rules Syntax Error: Unexpected T_OPEN_PARENTHESIS found on line 64, column 112
