New issue MPN Field not saving

    A new issue has raised it’s head and I have tried everything I know of. I have 99 products. I use MPN as the identifier for the feed. 83 of the products everything is working fine. In the remaining ones when I place the MPN in the products Product Data > General > MPN field and save the item the MPN does not save and gives me no error as to why.Of course the item is disproved from the feed on Google Shopping with no MPN listed for these products so I have to disable from the feed. I have even copied the product to a new product using a duplicate plugin and get the same issue with the copied draft when published. Suggestion on what the issue may be?

    Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

    Most likely the MPN’s are not saving because you are using a character in it which is not allowed (you should see a notification on top of the page when you do so).

    The MPN can only contain:
    – letters a-z A-Z
    – numbers 0-9
    and – or _
