Brand new installation from Todays download link and NO plugins used.

When I log into the admin and click on posts to edit there are no posts listed.

There should be the standard test post that wordpress produces after installation but there is none. I have added my own post without problems but once published again it is invisible within the admin post list. These posts display on the website just fine, but I am not able to edit them within the admin as I cant see them.

All I can see on the post admin is :

    All (2) | Published (2)
    No posts found

I am able to get round this by checking my browser history for the URL used to create the post in the first place, so I am in no major panic… I just wanted to know that this is being looked into.

  • Try adding define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false ); to the bottom of your wp-config.php file (just before the require_once line).

Tried this solution but did not solve the problem for me.

Instead it was a problem on the way we passed the fastcgi data from nginx webserver, which falls on the global $_SERVER[‘PHP_SELF’] and it was missing the 1st subdirectory level of the filesystem.

Fixed it by passing the correct value to the fastcgi SCRIPT_NAME parameter.

(Hint: debug by printing somewhere the values for _SERVER superglobals PHP_SELF and REQUEST_URI)
