New installation login not working

  • I just installed a new instance of WordPress in a sub-directory for my mom’s personal stuff that has nothing to do with her main website. It’s a family site, that is not part of her main site. These details are insignificant. She got an email from the installation with her username and password but it doesn’t work. What could cause this? Is there a delay between the time the site is created and the time the password is created?

    This is a sub-directory of her main site. Her other installation is also in a sub-folder of her main site.

    Main WordPress installation: https://www.jankollitz.com/rcc/ (works great)

    Secondary WordPress installation: https://www.jankollitz.com/myfamily/
    Is there another reason this is not working? It says it is not redirecting correctly.

    It says it isn’t redirecting correctly.

    The wp-admin window does come up, but it rejects the username/password which I know is correct.
