  • Hi there,

You put your translation file in the plugin folder so it will be removed every time you update a plugin, including this.

To avoid same error happen, please create your translation file in the system languages folder.

    Best regards

Hi Kimvt1991 first this is a windows system and the root folder is httpdocs put that folder your talking about under the root?

    thanks

I mean the languages folder of your WP site, it’s under your-site\wp-content\languages\plugins

Ok, there is no folder \languages\plugins there is

    /httpdocs/wp-content/plugins

so I am confused, do I need to create the folder tree \languages\plugins in httpdocs ?

I don’t know much about this. You can give it a try.

I get that because your answers are very vague, thanks anyway kimvt1991….:)

Well i thought it’s a WordPress default folder but it’s not, it’s created by a translate plugin, maybe Loco translate. That’s why i get confused when you said there’s no such folder.

I installed wordpress via plesk and I installed that plugin manually…no worries

[ Please do not bump. ]

In fact, you just need to create new language file(en_US.mo) for this plugin and your problem will be resolved. But you will have to do this everytime you update this plugin and it’s not a good solution.
So how did you create the language file for this plugin before the error?
